Slack Integration

Send Slack notifications when workflows complete or when agents need to alert you. You configure a channel and optional message format.

What It Does

The Slack integration lets Deslicer AI post messages to your Slack workspace. You use it for:

• Workflow notifications — Alert when a workflow finishes (e.g., Daily Health Check)
• Agent alerts — Agent sends a message when it finds something important
• Scheduled summaries — Send periodic workflow results to a channel

Setup

1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack.
2. Click Connect to Slack.
3. Authorize Deslicer AI in your Slack workspace.
4. Choose the default channel for notifications.
5. Save.

You can override the channel per workflow or notification.

Configuration

• Default channel — Where notifications go by default
• Message format — Optional customization for workflow summaries (e.g., include status, link to results)

Use Cases

• Daily Health Check — Run at 9 AM, post results to #splunk-ops
• Data Ingestion Monitor — Alert when indexes have no recent data
• ITSI Episode — Notify when a critical episode is detected

Slack is optional. Enable it when you want notifications in your team chat.
