Agent templates are saved configurations that give you a head start. Pick a template, customize if needed, and create an agent in seconds.

What Templates Include
A template saves: name, system prompt, model recommendation, attached tools, and configuration defaults. Instead of building from scratch, you start from a template and optionally adjust settings. Templates encode best practices and proven setups for common tasks.

Creating from a Template
- Select a template from the agent creation screen.
- The template pre-fills the Agent Builder form — name, system prompt, model, tools.
- Customize any field before saving.
- Save and test.
The template is a starting point. You own the final configuration.
Smithery Registry
The Smithery marketplace offers 3,500+ MCP tools and pre-built configurations. Browse by category, search for specific capabilities, and add tools to your agents. Smithery extends Deslicer with community and third-party integrations.
Team Templates
On Enterprise plans, you can save your own agents as templates and share them with your organization. This lets teams standardize on proven configurations.
